Portrait

I caught Patrick just as he was leaving on my second last day of work, and shanghaied him into posing for a portrait picture.

Since no other colleagues volunteered to have their portrait made - having, I guess, been frightened off by my earlier works - I had to do myself.

For this portrait I tried not using an ink outline in order to soften up the edges.

For this third portrait, I was beginning to believe my efforts didn't totally suck, despite failing to achieve the natural-look effect I was aiming for.

A second attempt at portraiture turned out a little better, with some saying they could recognize him.

A colleague at the place I last worked challenged me to use the projector gift they gave me to paint portraits of the team.
