Retirement

I made another trip into Bern today to practice 'en plein air' painting. It rained.

So I started my self-appointed Stadtkünstler (city artist) odyssey: painting 'en plein air' in the Bern Altstadt, because no one else would want the job.

I did another practice round of my 'city artist' fantasy by painting 'en plein air', again, just down the street.

And so it begins. Samantha's Le Carro project is well underway, but I just started after retirement.

Of all the possible scenarios for retirement that I entertain, the most persistent is the 'city artist'.
