Recycling

The new year brings forth a number of changes… new gym membership, renewed subscriptions, and a new recycling calendar.

I’m sure we would have just replaced the 2025 Entsorgungskalendar with the new one for 2026 without even thinking about it.

But our downstairs neighbour pointed out that the picture on the old calendar was taken in front of our house, and that blue recycle bin is ours. He only noticed it at the new year change-over, and for my part the interesting side of that paper copy is the schedule, which put the picture facing the corkboard when I pinned it up… without really looking at it.

It’s a bit weird that an English language bin from Canada is famous here, but I guess no one else noticed either; or just deals with it.
